In the ESYS — Energiesysteme der Zukunft initiative, energy experts from academia and corporate research departments work in interdisciplinary working groups to develop ideas and options for action for implementing a secure, affordable and sustainable energy supply. ESYS is a joint initiative of acatech – National Academy of Science and Engineering (lead), the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and the Union of German Academies of Sciences and Humanities.
