Prof. Dr. Heike Wetzel is Professor at the University of Kassel since 2014, where she holds the Chair of Microeconomics and Empirical Energy Economics. The focus of her research is on the sustainable transformation of energy systems. This includes regulatory economic analyses of energy supply and distribution as well as behavioral economic analyses of energy demand in the areas of electricity, housing and transport.
